As president of  Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Lambda Delta Omega Chapter, it

 is a pleasure to welcome you to our website.

Located in the Marvelous Mid-Atlantic Region, Lambda Delta Omega Chapter was chartered on June 15, 1976, by Janet Jones Ballard (8th Mid-Atlantic Regional Director and 22th Supreme Basileus).  There were 19 charter members: Barbara W. Alston, Mary R. Andrews, Cather M. Broadnax, Gladys W. Bunch, LaMuriel P. Everett, Alma D. Gaither, Velvora H. Gilliam, Gloria W. Jones, Ruth H. Law, Dimple M. Newsome, Clara R. Owens, Maude W. Ramsey, Yvonne Reddick, Marguerite M. Royals, Eula M. Scott, Fannie L. Slade, Nora C. Slade, Delphine B. Walton, Zetella W. Williams.  

Lambda Delta Omega’s current membership consists of 87 phenomenal women who are “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood” in the Bertie and Martin County communities! 

We are committed to implementing Alpha Kappa Alpha’s 2022-2026 international service programs launched by our International President Danette Anthony Reed
